An analogic photo project
Aritmico was born from a common passion, shared by Letizia Nicoli and me, for analog photos and the need to create a box where we could post them on Instagram. The name “arrhythmic” is due to the fact that finishing and developing film takes time, and this produces a waste, arrhythmic images, out of time for the flow of Instagram.
We use different cameras and have a different eye on things, but we want to use cameras like our smartphones: quick snapshots of our lives and travels without an endless chance to take them. Posting on Instagram, to have a common coordinated image on the feed, each post is a slideshow of two photos: the first in black and white and the second in color.
In an effort to grow and move beyond our personal dimensions, Arithmic could become a community of photography enthusiasts.
